Grendel's Den (89 Winthrop Street, Harvard Square) – this specific Harvard Square Bar insists you to stop and have happy hour meal from 5.00pm to 7.30pm and after 9.30pm.

You would find the menu at half price making your stomach to lie in budget. One of the best dishes of this happy hour is Mediterranean platter of steak tips and hummus costing you $5 only.

Sundays too are great days when you can visit the place for exclusive dollar menu offering dishes like burgers and pasta. You can make minimum drink purchase for $3 only in order to get discount prices.
Fajitas & Ritas (25 West St., Downtown or 1237 Hancock St., Quincy) –if you want to have Tex-Mex food at price of your choice then you are at right place. Fajitas and Ritas is one of the limited places where you will find the dinner-sized fajitas for $10 or even less only.

If someone of you prefers Tex over Mex then he can have BBQ pulled pork sandwich with slaw, beans & corn bread; all this for $10 or less only. After all this even if you are tight on your budget, you can’t leave without indulging in Respberry Margarita for $4 only. After all this, you won’t leave hungry that is for sure.
McCormick & Schmick's (North Market Building, Faneuil Hall) –the seafood restraint is expensive and can cost you a bit but its happy hour segment is something where you can easily afford to eat as many McCormick & Schmick’s delicious food as you want. The bar offers a menu of $1.95 only featuring burgers, chicken wings, cheese quesadillas, seafood (oysters and clams), etc.

On Monday to Friday from 3.30 to 6.30pm and on weekends i.e. Saturday and Sunday from 10pm to 12pm. Menu is different daily and reservations are recommended in order to save time from waiting. You can visit the web link for more information.
Sunset Grill & Tap (130 Brighton Ave., Allston) –though the bar does not offer any special drinks but its huge variety and collection makes it worthy to visit the place. The place is pure beer paradise that offers 112 beers and 380 types of bottled beers overall. Price varies from brand to brand. One of the drinks they offer is Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA.

This drink has 9% alcohol in it and costs $4 per pint which is quite reasonable. Another drink they offer is 120 Minute IPA containing 21% alcohol by volume. You don’t feel food space empty, for this reason food at cheap prices is also available at Sunset Grill and Tap.

In order to reserve your space on time, you might have to become an early bird as waiting lines can go long and long by passing of each hour.
Drink Specials:

Roggie's Brew & Grille (356 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton) –if you are looking for nonstop fun, then this is the place. The place is attractive to specifically young crowd.  52 beers on tap and martinis are offered here for $5 only.

If you want to enjoy the Roggie’s wings too, then visit this place between 4 to 7.00 pm and have a chance to eat wings for $0.15 only. If you want to do something exciting in the night and not remember it then go for 64 once bowls of mixed drinks costing $17 only.

After drinking, if you feel like to eat something then visit the pizza shop just next to the Roggie’s and have inexpensive meals.

Pour House Bar & Grill (909 Boylston Street, Fenway Kenmore) –this house bar is a typical dream bar for college students. Inexpensive prices and young crowd full of excitement and entertainment are the special features of this bar house. Different deals are offered on food.

You will find chicken sandwich for $2.5 only on Wednesday after 6.00pm. on Saturdays, after 6.00pm burgers are offered for half of the price. Along with delicious food at affordable rates, different drinks are offered at bar. Bar fills up in no time so it is better to find your seat in hurry.
